Build your plant identification skills by learning clues from bark, branch pattern, buds, leaf scars, and fruit. You’ll sharpen your understanding of the history of your woods, where it’s headed, and what species to encourage or discourage. Participants will receive "take-home" resource materials as part of the registration fee. Dress for the weather – snow, mud, or rain won’t keep us from carpooling to forest destinations within the Reserve.
